Huge congratulations to the Tycon Puppies that did so well at Birmingham.
Tycon First Impressions owned by Sarah Hudson, expertly handled by Andi Horwood got first in junior dog and reserve best dog.
Tycon in the Limelight owned by Rachel Cook and Rachael Hern got reserve junior Bitch and reserve Bitch.

I love your dogs. Unfortunately for me. I am really looking for a brindle. I have this absolutely gorgeous import male that belongs to a friend. I lost my old Akita a few months ago to cancer and would love to find another. My friends male is a white faced red out of two international champions from Europe. He is one of the most beautiful imports I’ve ever seen. I would be looking for a puppy to bring to my home around February. If you will be having a litter or know someone who will please let me know. Most of my friends that used to breed Japanese Akitas have retired.

I have just got my first akita puppy two weeks ago. As CEO of Isuzu in UK I have seen this breed many times in Japan and heard of their loyalty and courage.
I have to tell you I am totally and irrevocably in love with this dog – she is the most receptive and intelligent dog I have evr known and, after only two weeks is almost totally housetrained and comes when called (nearly always).
If this dog grows up bad tempered it will be totally my fault as she has the loveliest nature.
Yesterday I inadvertently stepped on her paw. She didnt speak to me for twenty four hours despite my grovelling apologies and her face was so hurt I almost cried! Are they always like that?
any tips you can give me to make her happy – please let me know
